As a marine biologist often exploring ocean depths, I appreciate good food just as much as a vibrant coral reef. My recent stay at Residential Hotel Bevel in Tokyo was enjoyable, especially the spacious apartment equipped with a fully functioning kitchen and a cozy dining area. I found it convenient to whip up a few dishes inspired by my Caribbean roots after visiting the nearby Matsubasenbei and Mensho Yagumo Honten for breakfast - both fantastic spots that offered delightful culinary experiences. While the apartment overall was well-equipped, I did miss having an ironing board for those casual beach-to-dinner transitions. The quiet location made for comfortable nights after a day of exploration, and despite the absence of a reception area, the staff were responsive via email, which added to the ease of my stay. I would definitely return for the culinary scene and homey feel!
